
In FRONT MISSION 2089: Borderscape, you will control the popular mecha robots. This title changed the gameplay to become a survival game. In 2019, Left Alive, a game set in the same universe as the Front Mission saga, was released. The latest installment of the saga was released in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Its history encompasses a series of military conflicts and political tensions affecting different countries between the 21st and 22nd centuries. In these titles, you control giant mecha robots called "Wanzers", short for the German Wanderung Panzer, i.e., "walking tanks".
